In a typical boxing class, you can expect a combination of warm-ups, shadowboxing, pad work, heavy bag drills, footwork exercises, and conditioning. Classes often include a mix of cardio and strength training to improve overall fitness.

The best time to start boxing classes is whenever you feel ready to commit to a new fitness regimen. We offer classes throughout the week, making it easy to find a time that suits your routine.

Boxing classes offer numerous benefits, including improved cardiovascular health, enhanced strength and conditioning, stress relief, better coordination, and increased confidence. It’s an intense, non-contact cardio workout that improves strength, agility, and coordination, making it ideal for fitness without sparring.

To prepare for your first boxing class, wear comfortable athletic clothing and bring water, and boxing gloves if you have them (although we provide gloves at Gaelan Fitness). It’s also helpful to arrive early to meet the instructor and familiarize yourself with the class setup.
